(Recommended for 8 months and up)
Please speak to your babies pediatrician/doctor about starting new foods before you try anything. Introduce one new food at a time, look out for allergic reactions, and remember that all new foods should be introduced to babies at least three days apart.
You can feel good about feeding your baby this puree, because mango’s contain over 20 different vitamins and minerals. Pears are among the least allergenic of all the fruits, and are a good source of dietary fiber. We can’t forget incredibly nutritious avocado that contains more potassium than a banana, and can reduce the risk of heart disease.
This combination is just yummy. I usually will make a smoothie for myself like this using similar ingredients. The awesome part is that this is another no cook puree! Some people prefer to steam the pears when they make baby food, but there is no need to steam the pears if they are really ripe. I usually just wait until the pears are extra soft to use them for baby food.
